Biographs
Each bandwidth describes the quality of a year in a person's life. A good year is described with a wide band, a difficult year by a more narrow band.
These graphs condense information into a structure in order to describe the quality of each year in the subject's life.

Human Tree Rings
These pieces are made by transferring the bandwidths from the Biographs into concentric circles. These more closely resemble tree rings as they reflect the effects of climate.

Biographs as structure for paintings
The bands from the Biographs are transferred to the painting, creating the structure. These graphite lines continue from the painting onto the wall connecting to the painting next to it.
